Relying solely on Yoast SEO as your online “SEO strategy” is a gross over simplification

Consider that Yoast SEO is really a very handy simple website plugin for beginner webmasters organising and shaping their webpage content SEO using a simplified heuristic, or set of rules, to determine the key elements of structure that the website and in particular the webpage, would ideally contain. Setting the focus keywords within Yoast SEO plugin should not just be guessed. The last thing you want is to create content for a keyword you’ll never rank for. So, you need to know what it is that people are searching (keyword research) and whether your website is capable of ranking for it (keyword competition). A structured keyword research strategy will greatly improve your chances of getting listed on page one of the SERPs and should be done before writing content.
